In this Corporate Minority career highlight interview Jesse Iwuji discusses his journey to becoming professional NASCAR Driver and entrepreneur. Jesse took a pretty untraditional route to becoming a nascar driver. Most people in NASCAR begin at a very young age. They begin training as children to prepared to race professionally. Jesse on the other hand started racing at the age of 27. He went from playing football to the Navy and then NASCAR. He worked his way up from the stock car racing to racing in the NASCAR Truck Series and is now getting ready to make an appearance in the NASCAR Xfinity series. In addition to becoming a NASCAR driver Jesse is also a successful entrepreneur.

  • Trying different things
  • Networking at tracks

  • Be comfortable grinding every single day
  • Understand that it wont be easy but there’s a light at the end of the tunnel
  • Keep your mindset in the right place
  • Refuse to quit and have faith
